The following steps will lead your community through the process of initiating a Community Housing Planning Process, establishing priorities, identifying projects and finalizing a Housing Assistance Plan. Review the Housing Division's website and the Housing Resource Directory

Find existing housing information for your community. Meet with key local officials and organizations.

Undertake a conference call or meeting with the Technical Assistance Committee.
|
 |
Conduct a Housing Needs Survey and Analysis for your community.
|
 |
Prepare a detailed Feasibility Analysis for each Possible Housing Project.
|
 |
Establish the Housing and Project Priorities for your community. Prepare a Housing Assistance Plan.
|
 |
Apply to federal and state programs for funding assistance, as necessary.
|
 |
Re-evaluate the process for your community.
