The following steps will lead you through the process of technical assistance for a Single Individual, Developer, Landlord, Development Agency, or a For-Profit or a Non-Profit Corporation to Initiate a Housing Project. Contact the Housing Coordinating Team's Technical Assistance Committee at any time for assistance to keep moving towards your goal. Email housingTA@mt.gov

Review the Housing Division's website and the Housing Resource Directory

Collect and review existing community housing information.
|
 |
Undertake a conference call or a meeting with the Technical Assistance Committee.

 |
Conduct Housing Needs Analysis for your community.
|
 |
Prepare a detailed Feasibility Analysis for the Possible Housing Project.
|
 |
Consult with Key Local Officials and Organizations, including Local Financial Institutions.
|
 |
Apply to federal and state programs for funding assistance, as necessary.
|
 |
Re-evaluate the process for your future needs.
